Field Note

After a hailstorm destroyed my ammonium sulfate field trials in 2020, I was intrigued when AdvanSix reached out and asked if I would be interested in working with them this season to evaluate the benefits of supplemental fertility on my soybeans. Farming along the Missouri river, our soils are quite variable, so we must manage each field uniquely due to a large variety of soils and conditions. While we intend to continue planting our soybeans as early as possible, we learned from our corn acres that early planting often requires supplemental applications of specific nutrients. We are excited to learn more this year and I look forward to sharing my experiences and insights with you throughout the season.
